District committee member of Crime Against Women • District committee member of Evaluation Team for Clean Village Selection Committee • Founder and Moderator for ‘Indian NGOs Confederation’ e-group (yahoo. group) connecting the 830 Indian NGOs and well wishers. Believed in peoples union and initiated a State level Federation called, ‘Tamilnadu Secondary Grade Teachers Association’ (Tamilnadu Idainilai Asiriar Mandram) during 1969, which cater to the need of the Teachers in the state. Great interest and commitment to charity, as a result found ODAM – NGO on 1995 with like minded people, eventually relieved through VRS from job on 1998 and become a fulltime Social worker.
